November Market Update: Heading into the Holiday Season in Miami County
Last month, we saw some declines in average home price and number of closings. But, even with the housing market going into the slow season, there are already some more positive numbers. Let’s dive in…
The average price of a residential home in September was $283,265, but in October, it was $292,788. This is a 3.36% increase between September and October, but an increase in home price makes sense for our seller’s market.
The Miami Valley is staying consistent with the number of closings. September had 98 closings, and October had 99, sticking right around 100 for the recent months.
We did see an increase in the average days on the market, increasing from 60 days in September to 62 days in October. Since this increase is a slight two-day increase, the market is staying pretty consistent in all three categories.
